As a single mom/grandmother I started La Loba's Home Bakery as just a hobby. Then slowly over the years people were asking me to make cakes and desserts for them. When I started to get paid it was a major help to take care of my family. Recently I took the plunge and started an actual business which I was selling Cheesecakes. Which has become my signature. When I realized through the cottage law here in Texas that I could sell legally items that I enjoy making I was hooked. Although I cant sell Cheesecakes anymore as they have to be refrigerated. Per cottage food law. But I do make other baked goods just as good and I enjoy it. I also have started to offer catering services. I go out on weekends when I can and BBQ which people love my food. BBQ with a Puerto Rican twist.
I enjoy trying new recipes and seeing how family and friends react to them. My family are my taste testers and they are brutally honest about what they like. I sometimes give out samples to so potential clients can have an idea of what my food tastes like. I strive to each and every product I make is filled with flavor and tons of love. I make everything to order. I strive to make sure that all ingredients are as fresh as possible. I make everything from scratch.
At La Loba's we strive for the best possible customer service possible. We will do what we can to meet your expectations. So take a tour of my site and if you have any questions or just want to get a quote. send me a message. Regardless if its a special event or just because I look forward to hearing from you.
At la Loba's Home Bakery we have since expanded to Catering. When we say we use the freshest of ingredients possible we mean exactly that. We grind our own hamburger and sausage. We also make our own pasta. So far we have added Spaghetti, Fettuccini, Lasagna, Tortellini, and Ravioli for the pasta we make fresh from scratch.
